What happens to your feedback

Everything submitted here is read. Corrections to a published guide are dealt with first, because an error on a page affects every reader who lands on it — those are checked against the source Office Memorandum or notification, and if the guide is wrong it is corrected and its "Updated" date revised.

How to make a report we can act on

• Data corrections — give the identifier the record is held under and, where you can, the official order or reference that supports the correction. We cannot change a record on an unsupported request, because doing so would degrade the data for everyone relying on it.
• Errors in a guide — name the article and the paragraph, and cite the order that supersedes what we have written. A general "this is out of date" is hard to act on; a specific OM number is easy.
• Calculator results — send the exact inputs you used and the figure you expected. Differences are often differences in assumption rather than errors, but we would rather check a false alarm than leave a real one standing.
• Bugs — tell us the page, your browser, and what you did just before it went wrong. A tool that fails on one browser and works on another is a very different problem from one that fails everywhere.

What this form cannot do

CSSMitra has no role in any service matter and no access to any official record. This form cannot be used to raise a grievance, request an official correction to your service record, or obtain a ruling on a rule. For a formal grievance use CPGRAMS or your Ministry's grievance mechanism; for anything affecting a service decision, your Administration or Establishment Section is the correct authority. Please do not submit classified or personally sensitive material through this form.
