CSSMitra is run by a small team, and the fastest replies are to messages that tell us exactly what you were looking at. If you are reporting a problem with a guide or a calculator, include the page address and, where relevant, the figures you entered — it saves a round of correspondence.
These are the messages we most want to receive. If a guide states a rule position that has since been amended, or misreads a provision, tell us which article and which paragraph, and cite the Office Memorandum or notification that supersedes it. Every correction is checked against the source order before the page is changed, and the article's "Updated" date is revised when it is.
Send the inputs you used and the figure you expected. Calculators on this site are estimates built on stated assumptions, so a difference is often a difference in assumption rather than an error — but if it is an error we want to know, and we would rather investigate a false alarm than leave a real one standing.
Tell us what you were trying to do when you could not find what you needed. A description of the actual task is far more useful to us than a request for a feature, because it often turns out there is a better answer than the one being asked for.
It matters that this is clear, because writing to us instead of the right authority costs you time.
