A complete image editor that never uploads your photos

PixelForge bundles layers, undo/redo history, smart crop, auto-enhance, background removal, a passport/ID photo maker, batch resize & compress, and a document scanner into one editor — and every one of these runs entirely in your browser. Your photos are never sent to a server.

Passport & ID Photo Maker

Choose a preset (passport, PAN card, visa, or a custom size), position your photo within the guide, and export at the exact pixel dimensions and DPI required — no separate app or printing-shop visit needed for a quick reprint.

Document Scan Mode

Photograph a document with your phone, then use edge detection and perspective correction here to straighten and clean it up into a flat, readable scan — a fast alternative to a dedicated scanner app when you just need one clean page.

Batch Resize & Compress

Apply the same resize dimensions and compression quality to many images at once, then download them all together — useful for preparing a folder of photos for a website or a size-limited upload form.

Why local processing matters

Most online photo editors upload your image to a server to apply filters or remove backgrounds, meaning a copy of your photo — potentially an ID document or a private image — leaves your device and sits on someone else's storage. PixelForge runs its background removal, cropping, and export logic using in-browser JavaScript and WebAssembly, so nothing is transmitted anywhere.

Is my photo uploaded anywhere while I edit it?
No. All editing, cropping, background removal and export happen locally in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Nothing is sent to a server at any point.
Will my edits be saved if I close the tab?
Undo history and open documents exist only for the current session. Export your work before closing the tab, since there's no automatic cloud save.
What image formats can I export?
You can export as PNG (with transparency support), JPEG, or WebP, with an adjustable quality setting for the lossy formats.
Does background removal work offline?
Yes — once the background-removal model has loaded for your session, the process itself runs fully offline in your browser without any further network requests.
